About this role

As a Medical Assistant, you will complete all steps in the medication prior authorization process monitoring the Medication Line to triage and resolve all concerns. You will contact pharmacies to authorize medications under the direct order of an agency physician prescriber. Coordinate care between clients, physicians, all staff, pharmacies, laboratories, urgent care/hospitals, and primary care physicians regarding client medical or psychiatric symptoms. Collect vitals and assessment/triage of clients with observed or reported medical issues.

Does the following apply to you?

• Minimum of one (1) year experience in the medical field i.e. taking vitals and working with physicians
• Associates Degree a Medical related field
• Valid PA drivers license in good standing
• Satisfactory results of required pre-employment and subsequent background checks in accordance with PA State and Federal Law

Preferred but not required:

• Prior experience in working or volunteering with individuals with mental health or substance abuse diagnosis
