As part of the NPW Sales team, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience by supporting key objectives aimed at cultivating demand, equity, and elevating our internationally produced water, premium waters, and Modern Milks. The Customer Account Analyst (CAA) is a critical role within the company responsible for the execution of a go-to-market strategy for DSD that meets or exceeds annual objectives. This role is responsible for selling multiple incremental displays in assigned accounts by negotiating with retailer District/Market Managers, communicating with the NRS (Nestle Retail Sales) and Distributor Teams to ensure 100% Execution in Market. The CAA role involves street and retailer District level sales activity within an assigned geography. This is a field-based position that will be covering the Arizona, Nevada, Colorado, Oregon, and Washington market. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- CAA must focus on creating new business opportunities and increasing Display activity within their designated region
- Call on Large Format Regional Divisions and Local Chains at the District/Manager level (Convenience/Drug – in select Regions) DMs, CSM, FMM, CSD: Activate Promotional Calendar, focusing on negotiating large Displays in multiple stores (e.g., local Kroger Division 30 stores)
- Analyze VIP/IRI data to identify selling opportunities in owned Chains. Create Sell Sheets and materials accordingly
- Collaborate with NUSA Field Sales and HQ Selling teams on market priorities
- Work with DSM (Distributor Sales Manager) on Pricing, Promotions
- Execute the developed sales strategies, plans and advertising or promotional programs.
- Implements sales strategies to deliver annual volume objectives in the region.
- Call on regional chains that are not assigned to the NAM/CAM (Account Management) team
- Maintain and expand account and package distribution for maximized sales in the region.
- Work with Distributor personnel and retailers to ensure sales, distribution and merchandising objectives are met.
- Communicate programs negotiated locally to NUSA Large Format/Small Format sales team
- Communicate dealer loaders utilized to leverage displays
- Connect with Distributor sales personnel/NUSA FSM/FSR/DSR on brand standards to optimize sales performance.
- At least 3-5 years business/sales experience or equivalent education. College degree preferred.
- Experience working for/with DSD Distributors a must.
- 1-2 years of people management experience preferred.
- Account sales experience is a plus
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Good command of business math with strong analytical skills
- Exceptional initiative and self-starter focused on the bottom line.
- Productive working in a collaborative, team environment with minimal oversight.
- Ability to comfortably lift 50 lbs.
- Some overnight travel is required.
