This position is located in Roy, UT and supports the Sentinel program. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package. What You'll Get To Do:This position is a dual-hat position requiring the candidate to perform functional management activities as well as program responsibilities. It is expected that the Functional management role will comprise up to 20% of the candidate's time.Essential Functions (Managerial):
- Promotes the professional development of the Homeroom workforce and fosters a collaborative culture that sustains the momentum around employee engagement and inclusion, affordability, innovation, value growth, and continuous improvement.
- Managing and guiding direct report annual goals, performance evaluations and compensations reviews.
- Ensure accurate time charging and time-card approvals.
- Conflict resolution, managing performance issues and improvement plans.
- Career growth mentoring for team of direct reports.
- Aligning direct reports to technical roles based on program needs. Helping identify stretch assignments and opportunities - Work as the integration lead for all elements across the weapon system that interact On Board Test Equipment.
- Lead design decisions and provide technical direction to the On Board Test Equipment Electrical Design and Integration team. Liaison to OBTE and AVE I&T for issues related to OBTE and integration/test.
- Assist OBTE Management and OBTE Chief Engineer in risk identification and tracking, especially risks associated with Flight Termination and Telemetry.
- Provide technical direction and support to the hardware, software, and systems engineering teams in the development and documentation of hardware/software interfaces, including electrical harness design, routing, and RF system design. Provide technical oversight and issue resolution for Onboard Test Equipment (OBTE) hardware during development and test.

- Bachelor's Degree in a STEM-related field of study from an accredited university and 6 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree
- Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret clearance with an in-scope investigation date within the last 6 years
- Must be eligible to obtain Enhanced Security Clearances (SAP) and a DoD Top Secret clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs
- At least 1 year of proven demonstrated leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- At least 1 year of experience leading a project and/or driving performance against schedule in an Electrical Design organization in a lead or managerial role
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a combination of: Flight Test Instrumentation (strain gages, accelerometers, data bus measurements), RF antenna design and testing, Cable-Harness design, wire schematic development
- Ability and willingness to travel 10% of the time
- Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics or Systems Engineering
- 1+ years Cost Account Manager and Program Scheduling experience
- Electrical requirement verification experience
- Integration and Test development/execution experience
- Familiarity with Siemens Capital cable design tool or equivalent
- Experience leading TEMPEST or EMI efforts with integrated product teams (IPTs)
- Strong CAD skills with experience developing wire diagrams or electrical schematics
- Experience designing, analyzing, and developing a power budget for an electrical power system of a military / aerospace system
- Experience developing multi discipline system architecture for a military / aerospace system
