Job Description We are actively seeking an Analyst to be a part of our Business Operations team within the Global Standards Management (GSM) division. The GSM team is responsible for the centralized governance and oversight of Visa’s current participation and engagement within Industry Standards-setting organizations, as well as in related industry trade associations. The team ensures standards participation, decisions, formal contributions, and general issue resolution aligns with Visa strategy. This pivotal role demands a professional who can adeptly integrate business analysis with communication initiatives, supporting Standards Management in collaboration with internal subject matter industry experts, cross-functional teams, and executive stakeholders. The successful candidate will partner with internal experts for trend analysis and information aggregation to generate insightful reports, educational webinars, and collaborative platforms (e.g., SharePoint site, Viva Engage) bringing visibility to relevant standards, interoperability, and potential impact – both internal and external. This individual will also be entrusted with establishing a document repository platform for efficient tracking and future use and championing the GSM brand within the organization. As a driven self-starter, the incumbent will be comfortable operating in an agile environment and possess the ability to independently drive initiatives to completion. The role also requires strong cross-functional collaboration and partnership skills. The ideal candidate will embrace accountability as described in Visa’s Leadership Principles and be committed to the mission of the GSM team. Role Responsibilities
  • Communications, Education and Brand Visibility.
  • Collaborate with standards experts and other internal stakeholders to generate detailed informative reports, including key highlights and trends analysis for executive leadership review.  
  • Generate detailed communications (e.g., Bi-Weekly Newsletter, Monthly and Quarterly Reports) to increase visibility of current work efforts, emerging standards, trends analysis, and implications to the business. 
  • Define, develop, and deliver on all initiatives related to transforming and enhancing communications, GSM collateral, reporting, education, and site maintenance engagement strategies.
  • Delivery of informative analysis and complex ideas in presentation format succinctly and in an engaging manner.   
  • Partner with internal stakeholders (e.g., legal, IT, Visa University, Corporate Comms) to develop, design and deliver evolving comprehensive training initiatives and material for organization participants to enhance their competencies and understanding of engagement policies.  
  • Design, develop, and deliver evolving GSM playbook and talking points to institute supporting platforms for all audiences providing awareness to policies, procedures, and relevant material.    
  • Transform and manage a centralized document repository platform, ensuring efficient tracking, retrieval, and management of critical standards-related information.
  • Serve as brand ambassador within Visa to boost visibility by advocating for the GSM brand using established networking platforms through the creation of engaging media content and sharing across multiple platforms (e.g., SharePoint site, LinkedIn, Viva Engage, Podcasts etc.). 
  • Contribute to all GSM strategy initiatives, framework, reporting, and governance models with a consistent rhythm.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive GSM and Visa communication, educational, and other similar objectives.
  • •Foster strong relationships within the organization, leveraging these relationships to influence decisions, drive change, and motivate cross-departmental partnership.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.   Qualifications Basic Qualifications
  • 2 or more years of work experience with a bachelor’s degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD).
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3 or more years of work experience with a bachelor’s degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD).
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business strategy, management, communications, or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in project management or similar roles is essential.
  • Exceptional organizational, time management, program management and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent business analysis, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in developing compelling narratives and content.
  • Excellent execution and project management skills, with experience in leading strategic and high-visibility initiatives.
  • Excellent team collaboration and engagement skills.
  • Aptitude for improving operations processes and participation governance functionality.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, demonstrating resilience and a proactive approach in responding to changing business needs and priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Power BI/Tableau/Jira or other project management tools is a plus.
  • Experience in planning and delivering marketing and brand awareness activities is a plus.

Additional Information Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department. Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time. Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers. U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 83,300.00 to 117,750.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
