Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience in product policy analysis and identifying policy risks.
  • Experience in working with abuse, spam, fraud or malware.
  • Experience using statistical analysis and hypothesis testing.
  • Experience with AI, LLMs, Trust and Safety, or Cybersecurity.
  • Excellent influencing skills, with the ability to work in a dynamic environment.
About the job Trust & Safety team members are tasked with identifying and taking on the biggest problems that challenge the safety and integrity of our products. A diverse team of Analysts, Policy Specialists, Engineers, and Program Managers, we work to reduce risk and fight abuse across all of Google’s products, protecting our users, advertisers, and publishers across the globe in over 40 languages. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $108,000-$158,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Lead and manage multi- quarter, high-visibility trust projects (e.g., build critical trust protections to fight abuse in user generated content space, scale user base to key markets while meeting goal trust metrics). Analyze and debug escalations and identify trends that can indicate bigger product risks.
  • Use technical acumen to drive project delivery, challenge proposals and identify risks. Manage multiple projects of moderate to high complexity and scope against crashed timelines. Collaborate with other teams and functions (e.g., Engineer, Program Manager, Legal, Policy).
  • Drive usage and adoption of AI efforts for effective abuse fighting by identifying opportunities to reduce Operational Expenditure (OPEX), catch abuse faster or improve quality of decision making.
  • Perform on-call responsibilities on a rotating basis, including weekend coverage as needed.
