Business Analyst
We are looking to expand our Technology Compliance coverage by adding a Business Analyst to the team. This role will focus on engagements at the intersection of Compliance and Technology. The scope of the role cuts across profiles required to support and respond to the needs of both Compliance and Technology stakeholders.
Principal Responsibilities
- Business analysis and project management of technical enhancements and new application build-outs pertaining to Compliance.
- Investigative data analysis and complex reports.
- Business analysis of platform improvements, approvals, new feature requests, and new workflows in collaboration with internal stakeholders including technology team leads.
- Define detailed user requirements and functional specifications for projects of all sizes.
- Partner with development teams on all aspects of the software development lifecycle for pertinent projects.
- Participate in the testing process with a focus on validating that business requirements have been met.
Qualifications/Skills Required
- 5+ years of experience in technical business analysis or project management; SQL and advanced knowledge of Excel.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science; Economics; Finance) required. Master’s preferred.
- Prior business analysis and project delivery experience.
- Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Experience coordinating projects across separate teams / functional areas and writing user requirements.
- Able to prioritize in a fast moving, high pressure, constantly changing environment; good sense of urgency, resourcefulness and independence.
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills (both verbal and written).
The estimated base salary range for this position is $70,000 to $160,000, which is specific to New York and may change in the future. Millennium pays a total compensation package which includes a base salary, discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package.
