Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history.Northrop Grumman is seeking an Engineering Technician 2 for our location in Plymouth, MN.Position Summary: Employee will conduct spin testing for programs using calibrated equipment like oscilloscopes and power supplies. They will also conduct explosives inventory control and demill. Conduct tests with spin tester and centrifuge and use computer in performance of analyses and development of reports/documentation.Skills required:
- Requires a minimum of 2 years of experience with a High School degree.
- Previous experience using the following testing equipment: Multimeters, Stand alone power supply, oscilloscopes.
- Solder certified
- Posses electrical component understanding; such as, the ability to read drawings and schematics.
- Previous experience gathering, maintaining and compiling technical data.
- Able to read engineering documentation and reports.
- Must be a US Citizen
- Knowledge or experience with explosives or energetic assembly and test.
- Capable to safely operate equipment that is designed or modified for the build and test munitions.
- Assembly, disassembly, processing, repairing and testing of small arms, artillery and other mechanical or electrical ordnance assemblies is a plus.
