- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in program management.
- 5 years of experience in Data Center Infrastructure, telecommunications, or construction industries.
- Master's degree in a technical field or business administration.
- 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
- Knowledge of data center technologies and best practices.
- Ability to manage ownership for project life-cycle, with knowledge of the tools and elements of project management.
- Ability to collaborate and influence across multiple levels of an organization with experience leading cross-functional process improvements.
- Partner with teams to deploy new products and innovations in Google’s data centers for ML workloads.
- Understand new mechanical, electrical, and server hall product’s technical specifications to assess constraints, risks, and mitigations for upcoming data center builds.
- Understand construction schedules and concepts like environmental permitting requirements.
- Work with Supply Chain organization to assess Owner-Furnished Equipment supplier sustaining capacity, opportunities to ramp capacity with existing or new suppliers, and technical interoperability of equipment across Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers.
- Collaborate with teams in supply-chain to identify and mitigate supply-chain delivery constraints and manage program schedules, highlight risks, and communicate goals.
