The BT Application Development team is seeking a dedicated and experienced Force.com developer to develop and improve our internal technology solutions on the salesforce .com platform that supports various critically important business processes. Responsibilities:
- You must have a solid understanding of the Salesforce platform and products, such as the Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Force.com.
- Your ability to quickly learn new features, and technologies, and to communicate effectively with various business owners, technical staff members, and cross-functional teams will help you to design, develop, and configure ground breaking Salesforce.com products.
- To be successful in this position, you must provide guidance on the Salesforce.com APIs, profiles, and security model while maintaining and configuring development and test instances for our internal sandboxes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and other interconnected IT groups to optimize the end-to-end process including monitoring, deployment, and support
- Understand all aspects of Salesforce configuration and technical/functional capabilities, including all changes and potential system implications related to ongoing releases
- Implement monitoring services to proactively identify issues
- Maintains updated system documentation and Salesforce policies/procedures
- Actively transfers knowledge throughout the organization, participates in knowledge-sharing projects to develop best practices, leads knowledge-sharing sessions, and mentors junior staff and new hires
- Perform tasks related to the day-to-day operations of several large implementations of Salesforce including managing user access, sharing models, creation and maintenance of custom objects and fields, handling bulk data migration, workflows, validation rules, page layouts, and troubleshooting of Apex and integrations
- Manages tasks and projects in a fast-paced support environment, driving all issues to resolution with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and efficient task execution
- Maintain and demonstrate 100% compliance with all written security policies, SOX procedures, and change management controls
