Join our cyber team and elevate your career.Work you'll doBackground:The government agency is modernizing and leveraging cloud technologies to improve the delivery of agency services while also enhancing its infrastructure capabilities. As part of the effort, the government agency's OCIO is establishing a combined cyber and network vendor supported services contract. The integrated team will provide one common approach to networking and security services. This requirement will be administered centrally to directly support ITOS and Cybersecurity Divisions.Description:
  • Design, implement and maintain layer 2 and 3 network services including routers, switches, routing protocols, domain-based network services and all supporting technologies
  • Network design in an environment that spans multiple platforms including on-premises networks, WAN services, cloud service provider networks and SaaS offerings focused on producing effective cloud-based connectivity solutions
  • Provide network specific subject matter expertise to the architecture team dedicated to developing cloud presence and focus on visibility of performance between facility networks, remote users, and cloud services
  • Design, implement and maintain VPN services to include DMVPN, GETVPN, IPSec, GRE+IPSec and equivalent alternative solutions

  • 10+ years' experience implementing, supporting, and growing enterprise class network solutions in a highly available environment
  • 1+ years' experience working in a variety of environments including VMWare enterprise networked systems and all major cloud service provider environments
  • 10+ years' expertise in providing high quality technical solutions to a wide range of challenges with a focus on redundant layer 3 services, secure WAN solutions, deep knowledge of enterprise class network technologies including managing all aspects of a large multi-site layer 3 network using BGP and EIGRP
  • 1+ years' experience with next generation VPN technologies like GETVPN, DMVPN and others, significant experience working with VMWare NSX as well as operational support and design experience within Microsoft Azure or and equivalent cloud service provider's network environments
  • 3+ years' project lead and management experience
  • Current active Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance required
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
Location: Telework acceptable, but candidates are required to be able to travel to Boyers, PA, Macon, GA, or Washington, DC in the event of catastrophic outages.Preferred:
  • Certifications:
    • AZ-900: Microsoft Azure Fundamentals
    • AZ-700 Designing and Implementing Azure Networking
    • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
    • Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
