About the role
Netskope Corporate Engineering (CorpEng) delivers secure and scalable global services through the development and continued evolution of a future-proof IT infrastructure that unlocks and enhances customer experience, business growth and operational efficiency.
What’s in it for you
As an IT DevOps Engineer in the Infrastructure Team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of our Infrastructure systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain robust infrastructure solutions that support our applications and services.
What you will be doing
- Analyzing the security of network systems from hardware to cloud services and discovering and addressing network security issues.
- Working with partner teams on company-wide business requirements, strategies, and roadmaps.
- Acting as the third-tier escalation point for IT Infrastructure incidents.
- Working with vendors, industry organizations, and internal teams to implement and maintain enterprise infrastructure.
- Increasing business impact via process automation and technology innovation
- Assisting in the roll-out and deployment of new systems, integrations and configuration changes to support business growth, working collaboratively with business and IT teams
- Ensuring complete compliance with all security, usage, and IT controls and policies
- Being an integral part in improving IT Infrastructure processes, updating procedures and policies.
- Collaborating with development, operations, and security teams to design and implement infrastructure solutions that meet business requirements.
- Developing and maintaining automation scripts and tools for provisioning, configuration, and deployment of infrastructure resources.
- Monitoring and optimizing system performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Ensuring security best practices are implemented across the infrastructure.
- Troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure-related issues in a timely manner.Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in infrastructure automation and DevOps methodologies.
Required skills and experience
- 7+ years working in a similar field.
- Required working hours are between 8AM-5PM Pacific time (PST).
- Proven experience working as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role, with a focus on infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, Google Cloud, or AWS.
- Proficiency in SQL/KQL for Azure Sentinel
- Proficiency in infrastructure as code tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- A solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication and collaboration skills.
- Willingness to work and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
