Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in designing, installation, and managing database products.
• 5 years of experience in developing application business logic using T-SQL, PL/SQL, shell scripts, and Python.
• 5 years of experience with database administration in Oracle and SQL Server RDBMS.

Preferred qualifications:

• 5 years of experience using database troubleshooting techniques.
• Experience in Linux system administration.
• Experience configuring storages (e.g., Nimble/NetApp) for databases.
• Experience with the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) in the semiconductor industry.
• Experience using Power BI Data Analysis Expression (DAX).
• Ability to analyze and resolve difficult technical issues quickly.

As a Database Engineer at Google, you design, implement and maintain our relational database systems for performance and reliability. You're responsible for tuning and configuring our databases as well as building tools and scripts to monitor, troubleshoot and automate our systems.
