Gaming: Welcome to the world of land-based gaming. At Light & Wonder, it’s all about the games, and our Gaming team builds cutting-edge technology, products, and content for the most iconic casinos and operators across the globe. Position Summary Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design and create illustrations for EGM products, from initial concept through to final polished assets
• Create visually impactful symbol sets, UI elements and layouts that fit within a given theme

• Produces digital graphics and/or animations, ensures correct file management.

• Managing all files and art assets
• Creating fonts, logos, game layouts and branding
• Contributes to a range of deliverables within the assigned studio team

• Creates layouts from existing game designs
• Participates in team meetings to share relevant information and technology transfer 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Traditional 2D Illustration skills with a solid understanding of facial anatomy, materials, lighting, values, colour.
• Adobe Photoshop experience essential. Previous experience with After Effects animation highly regarded.
• Good understanding of principles of 3D graphics.
• Requires extensive understanding of all art and files preparation, layout procedures and processes, type design and manipulation.
• Ability to follow/maintain stringent guidelines.
• Ability to manage their time and meet deadlines.
• Must have multi-tasking experience and abilities.
• Must be able to effectively communicate at both the lowest and highest levels in the organization
• Must be detail oriented and well organized.
• A critical eye for detail and ability to receive feedback and apply necessary changes.

Highly Desirable skills or experience:

• Graphic design, typography, branding and layout skills
• Background in traditional art and drawing
• 3D software skills, e.g., Blender, 3ds Max or Maya.
• Gaming industry/related experience preferred.

Experience, Education and Qualification:

• Experience in Illustration, design, layout, as well as rendering skills, and animation/motion design
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
