The Patient Service Representative is responsible for general clinic office functions that support efficient and effective patient care including patient registration, insurance verification, collection of applicable co-insurance and/or co-payments and scheduling of diagnostic and follow-up appointments and answering phones Location: 10649 Bennet Parkway, Zionsville, IN Schedule: Monday – Wednesday and Friday, 8:00AM – 5:30PM, Thursday, 8:00AM – 1:00PM Primary Responsibilities:
- Greet patient when entering the practice
- Obtain accurate and updated patient information, such as name, address, insurance information
- Perform insurance verification on the date of service
- File and maintain medical records
- Confirms and schedule appointments
- Answer telephone calls promptly and courteously
- Collects co-pays or outstanding balances on the date of service
- Performs other duties as assigned

- High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
- 6+ months of experience working in medical front office position performing duties such as scheduling appointments, checking patients in/out, insurance verification, collecting co-pays and maintaining medical records
- 1+ years of customer service experience
- 6+ months of healthcare or customer service-related experience
- Beginner level of Microsoft Office experience
