Job Description What we can offer you! - Your Role: The Demand Manager (m/f/d) will coordinate the flow of information from the sales team to operations in a way that is actionable, fiscally responsible, and customer-focused. Activities may include, but are not limited to the following:
- Develop and execute demand planning strategies and processes for the Teamsports & Workwear Aftermarket External Embellishment business across the EU and US markets.
- Collaborate with retailers, clubs, customer service, and key stakeholders to gather market intelligence and insights, ensuring accurate demand forecasting.
- Analyze historical sales records, market trends, and customer data to generate the consensues forecasts-
- Drive cross-functional collaboration with commercial, supply chain, and operations teams to align forecasted demand with production and inventory planning.
- Continuously improve forecasting accuracy by evaluating and implementing advanced statistical forecasting models, demand planning tools, and processes.
- Identify and address demand planning challenges and bottlenecks, proposing actionable solutions to optimize inventory levels and customer service levels.
- Partner with supply chain teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment and efficient inventory management based on demand forecasts.
- Generate regular reports, presenting key performance metrics and insights related to demand planning accuracy, forecast variance, and inventory levels.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in demand planning methodologies, incorporating relevant strategies into the business.
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred.
- 5+ years of Supply Chain or related experience, with 3+ years supervisory or lead experience preferred.
- Experience in forecasting and mathematical trend analysis.
- Working knowledge of modern manufacturing, material flow, and improvement strategies (e.g. continuous flow, etc.) and the ability to integrate those into the operation.
- Demonstrated understanding of financial systems and the key drivers within the manufacturing environment.
- Self-motivated, results-driven individual with a proven track record of process implementation.
- Strong organizational skills in strategy, communication at all levels, and execution.
- Excellent organizational and people skills, project management skills, with an ability to openly convey information to team members in a timely, concise manner.
- High degree of commitment, initiative, flexibility, and attention to detail.
- Understanding of applicable computer systems, such as Oracle.
