Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world.   Job Summary: Raytheon is seeking a Principal Activity-Based (ABI) Engineer to be a part of a team that performs and provides support to high energy projects supporting the intelligence community.  This position operates, tests, and integrates new systems in support of ABI activities. You will work closely with customers, engage with various system end users and mission partners to determine required solutions.

• Evaluate customer operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements.
• Design, develop and verify a lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions. 
• Integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces.
• Operate Research and Development (R&D) initial operations for systems developed by multiple customers.
• Implement new Concept of Operations (CONOPS) and procedures for the intelligence community while maintaining operations in the current system.

Basic Qualifications:  Typically requires a Bachelor’s in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 8 years of prior engineering experience or equivalent.
