What you’ll do at Jamf:

At Jamf, we empower people to be their best selves and do their best work. The Product Owner facilitates the development of valuable technical products that meet the needs of Jamf customers and deliver toward the technical strategy of our product portfolio. They play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between our business objectives and technical development. They work closely with Product Managers (PM, Technical) and engineering teams to turn roadmap initiatives into backlog items, prioritize the backlog based on business and customer needs, and deliver new product features to the market. This role requires a deep understanding of both technical and business aspects, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills.

Cloud Infrastructure & Developer Experience 

 

This role is remote in Poland. We are only able to accept applications for those based in Poland and have sponsorship to live and work in Poland. 

 

What you can expect to do in this role: 

  • Collaborates with stakeholders and engineering teams to create and maintain the product backlog by continuously defining user stories, prioritizing backlog items, and evaluating scope. 
  • Work closely with technical product managers and development teams to gather and refine technical requirements and acceptance criteria. 
  • Develop an understanding technical constraints of the product to make informed decisions and guide development efforts. 
  • Defines Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and suggests metrics for monitoring and usage. 
  • Documents and Guides technical integrations and dependencies. 
  • Acts as the final decision maker to define what is in and out of scope for a product sprint. 
  • Identifies, communicates, and mitigates when possible the risks to their product development plans. 
  • Maintains accurate records of development status and backlog priorities in project tracking software (e.g. Jira). 
  • Participates in Scrum ceremonies and events.
  • Performs other duties as required and completes all job functions as per departmental policies and procedures. 

 

What we are looking for: 

  • Min. of 2 years experience working with, leading, and motivating technical teams. 
  • Min. of 1 year of relevant Technical Product Owner experience or Product Owner experience with responsibilities leading Technical solutions, with a demonstrated track record of delivering quality technical products. 
  • Strong technical background with a solid understanding of software development processes. 
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.  
  • Experience as a member of a complex team, such as distributed/remote or international is nice-to-have. 
  • Working knowledge of cloud based software development is nice-to-have. 
  • Experience with delivering product in an Agile development environment and experience with the Atlassian software suite is nice to have.
