Duties and Responsibilities:  

• Required to use hand tools and power tools to assist in preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on mechanical, electromechanical, and pneumatic equipment and systems; including automated wire stretchers, fill ovens, immersion baths, automated conformal spray, and selective solder machines. 
• Timeliness completion of preventative work orders and logs which may require operating company vehicles, handling environmental equipment, and performing hazardous waste recycling. 
• Under limited supervision, performs a variety of routine and simplistic facilities maintenance duties in company buildings and surrounding property; including painting, general repairs, furniture moves, and snow removal on sidewalks. 
• Maintaining and recommending spare parts. 
• Following and understanding all applicable policies and procedures 
• Cognitive skills in advanced machinery and automation 
• Other duties as assigned. 
• Inputting data and utilizing Computerized Maintenance Management Software (CMMS) 

 

Basic Qualifications: 

 

• Typically requires a HS Diploma or GED with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience. In the absence of a HS diploma or GED, typically 3 years of relevant experience is required.
• U.S. Citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Overtime eligible.
• May be standing for 8+ hours and may be required to lift/move heavy parts and/or equipment weighing up to 55 pounds. 
• Electrical, Mechanical, and Pneumatic equipment experience. 
• The ability to successfully complete training modules associated with job grade. 
• The ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures.  
• Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
• Attention to detail to ensure safety and quality. 
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task. 
• Intermediate computer skills in terms of typing, navigating screens, and learning new software programs. 
• Demonstrated analytical skills and problem-solving abilities. 
• The ability to effectively work with and take direction from more experienced coworkers, supervisors and production managers.
