OnsiteDuties and Responsibilities:
- Required to use hand tools and power tools to assist in preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on mechanical, electromechanical, and pneumatic equipment and systems; including automated wire stretchers, fill ovens, immersion baths, automated conformal spray, and selective solder machines.
- Timeliness completion of preventative work orders and logs which may require operating company vehicles, handling environmental equipment, and performing hazardous waste recycling.
- Under limited supervision, performs a variety of routine and simplistic facilities maintenance duties in company buildings and surrounding property; including painting, general repairs, furniture moves, and snow removal on sidewalks.
- Maintaining and recommending spare parts.
- Following and understanding all applicable policies and procedures
- Cognitive skills in advanced machinery and automation
- Other duties as assigned.
- Inputting data and utilizing Computerized Maintenance Management Software (CMMS)
Basic Qualifications:
- Typically requires a HS Diploma or GED with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience. In the absence of a HS diploma or GED, typically 3 years of relevant experience is required.
- U.S. Citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Overtime eligible.
- May be standing for 8+ hours and may be required to lift/move heavy parts and/or equipment weighing up to 55 pounds.
- Electrical, Mechanical, and Pneumatic equipment experience.
- The ability to successfully complete training modules associated with job grade.
- The ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail to ensure safety and quality.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
- Intermediate computer skills in terms of typing, navigating screens, and learning new software programs.
- Demonstrated analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
- The ability to effectively work with and take direction from more experienced coworkers, supervisors and production managers.
