The M&A Integration & NPI GTM Readiness Director is accountable for functional integration strategy and execution, defining the M&A playbook across multiple scenarios, GTM Readiness for new product launches for integration products, and Global Operational readiness. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of launching products successfully, turning strategy into execution, transforming to drive operational scale to support speed of product innovation, and delivering business outcomes on time and with high quality. The successful candidate is a results-driven leader who brings a strategic approach and thought leadership to achieve desired business outcomes. In addition, the selected candidate has demonstrated operational rigor and continuous delivery of improvements with measurable impact.

What you get to do in this role:

  • Participate in due diligence for potential acquisitions, analyzing in-depth operations, Sales, Marketing and Partner aspects of businesses and performing complex analyses, including helping in developing and implementing strategies for each acquisition
  • Play an active role in launching new NPI offers related to alliance and acquisition
  • Design/optimize businesses processes to support new offers launch
  • Assess NPI offers for Go-To Market (GTM) readiness
  • Co-develop an engagement model that is repeatable, agile, and optimized launch process for these offers
  • Act as the Program Lead to enable GTM readiness across all functions to launch the offer
  • Lead the Lead to Cash cross-functional team to develop the business process & operational requirements for transactability for the offers
  • Work with IT and Process leaders as needed to prioritize and execute the solutions
  • Define and execute program plans with cross-functional teams to ensure commercial & operational readiness for launch
  • Ensure comprehensive planning including post sale readiness
  • Develop, manage, and execute detailed project plans that consider all requirements, constraints, resources, and deliverables associated with the defined objectives
  • Conduct thorough and detailed analysis to produce data driven recommendations to enable leadership decisions
  • Develop required documentation such as process design documents, workshop agenda & presentations, stories, use cases, roles/responsibilities
  • Continuously apply a customer / partner lens across the customer journey to identify and execute optimization opportunities to improve NPI objectives

Qualifications

Our ideal candidate: 

  • Experience in working with cross-functional teams to deliver engagements across all of phases of the M&A lifecycle including due-diligence, pre-close and post-merger integration
  • You are a critical thinker, embracing ‘out of the box’ thinking to solve problems
  • Proven experience in launching SaaS offers, experience with alliance business model is highly desirable. Well-versed in SaaS business processes and customer lifecycle
  • Exemplary program management skills: this is in terms of process and documentation, keeping two steps ahead of the plan (foreseeing issues, risks, dependencies); leading and facilitating meetings; crisp verbal & written communication skills with ability to negotiate/influence and work cross-functionally
  • Highly analytical, fact driven, and process orientated mindset
  • Ability to conduct meaningful analysis of complex data and translate the results into actionable messages and deliverables
  • Thrives in fast-paced environment, adept at managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment to drive results
  • Ability to challenge the status quo and develop mindshare to drive towards a common goal
  • Ability to synthesize information that can be easily consumed by various executive audiences
  • Good understanding to Quote to Cash, Goal to Compensation and partner business processes

For positions in the Bay Area, we offer a base pay of $173,100 - $302,900, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs (subject to eligibility requirements). Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located, and is subject to change based on work location.
