Job Description

What you get to do in this role:   

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement user-friendly interfaces and applications on the ServiceNow platform.
  • Translate design wireframes and mockups into high-quality, responsive, and efficient front-end code.
  • Customize and configure ServiceNow components, widgets, and UI pages to meet business requirements.
  • Optimize application performance and ensure compatibility across various devices and browsers.
  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging of front-end code to identify and resolve issues.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in front-end development and the ServiceNow ecosystem.
  • Participate in code reviews, provide feedback, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with back-end developers and other stakeholders to integrate front-end components with back-end systems and databases.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you have:

  • 4+ years of relevant experience
  • Proven experience as a Front End Developer with a focus on the ServiceNow platform
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related front-end web technologies
  • Experience with any of the modern UI frameworks like Angular, React or Vue
  • Experience with ServiceNow UI development, including UI policies, UI actions, and UI scripts
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow Glide API, AngularJS, Bootstrap, or other front-end frameworks/libraries is a plus
  • Solid understanding of web standards, responsive design principles, and cross-browser compatibility
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities
  • Proven ability and eagerness to work in a globally distributed organization
