Visa Direct is an exciting, new payment service that Visa provides to clients (issuers, acquirers, processors, merchants, and service providers) the ability to facilitate funds transfers and disbursements from and to Visa as well as non-Visa accounts globally. Visa Direct consumer and business applications include person to person (P2P) money transfers, marketplace payouts to gig economy participants, funds disbursement (e.g. insurance claims) and many more. The push payments market is estimated to be more than 80 Trillions USD of payment volume, replacing cash, checks, and ACH with push credits directly into bank accounts in real-time.

The Visa Direct Onboarding Transformation team is responsible for the client end-to-end onboarding process globally, from commitment to implementation. We thrive to deliver a seamless experience that enables our clients to adopt Visa Direct quickly, allowing to scale, accelerate time to market, enhance customer experience and continually optimize our processes. The team is seeking a highly qualified Sr. Analytics & Insight Project Manager who is passionate about data analysis, insights and is always trying to go deeper to understand the drivers and opportunities that the data produces, and presenting the story the data tells through comprehensive dashboards & insights, with a strong background in project management.

 

With a strong focus on the ability to interpret complex data, tell compelling stories and maintain a continual improvement, simplification, and standardization mindset, you will own and be accountable to manage the Data Analytics & Insights of the Visa Direct Product Onboarding pipeline, as well as the relationship with key business owners and stakeholders across the world to ensure reports & dashboards are approved, validated, and communicated in accordance with set timelines.

 

This role will report to the Global Senior Director of Visa Direct Onboarding Transformation.

 

Responsibilities

  • Possess or quickly develop subject matter expertise on the Visa Direct Products, and end-to-end Onboarding processes, including functional hand offs and regional nuances.

  • Work in close coordination with the Visa Direct product office and regional stakeholders, Sales, Solutioning, and Client Services teams to create, integrate and maintain various data sources into effective data sets & models, and understand their challenges and opportunities, to provide deep reporting insights and storytelling.

  • Drive, collect & integrate data from multiple sources, ensuring data quality and consistency.

  • Perform exploratory, descriptive & prescriptive data analysis, using statistical and analytical tools and techniques.

  • Develop and present data visualizations, dashboards, and reports that communicate key findings and recommendations to stakeholders. Create and maintain self-service dashboards for executive reporting primarily around program launches and provide early warning of clients in the pipeline that will require cross functional support and readiness planning.

  • Identify and interpret data trends, patterns, and anomalies, and provide insights and suggestions for improvement.

  • Stay updated with the latest developments and best practices in data analysis and visualization.

  • Streamline the existing processes and follow a robust development methodology focused on automation and accuracy, developing data integrity checks and balances to reduce manual intervention.

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of data collecting processes, insights, and code base analytics.

 

As part of an agile and process-owner oriented team, the ideal candidate must be flexible to adapt to new business requirements, with possible changes or increased responsibilities based on the evolution of the business, processes, and team. Including expanding their role to support process development, implementation & continuous improvement. Supporting key stakeholders on a global setting.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.


Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications:
9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
Money Movement product knowledge
Experience in project management and capable of managing various projects simultaneously and prioritize deliverables based on business needs, with a keen sense of accountability, collaboration and change management.
Excellent conflict resolution and communication skills to be able to work globally across different functions.
Demonstrated:
Proficient in SQL and one or more programming languages such as R or Python.
Advanced experience with data visualization tools Power BI, Tableau and Excell.
Proficient in MS Teams Share Point Lists & Microsoft Power Platform tools.
Experience using different Data Models and examples of when to use each model.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
Experience leading design discovery meetings with stakeholders.
Incorporate diverse use cases into cohesive design prototypes.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex data concepts and findings in a clear and concise manner.
Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Curious and eager to learn new skills and technologies.
Have excellent time management and organizational skills to maintain multiple stakeholders accountable for their deliverables in a friendly, collaborative, and constructive approach to ensure progress against strict timelines and goals.
Capacity to understand business needs and have the acumen to deliver reports and dashboards that deliver findings & insights that are aligned to those needs.
Excellent negotiation and conflict resolutions skills to have the ability to maintain stakeholders aligned and working towards a unified goal.
Critical thinker and risk management skills to be proactive at identifying possible issues, analyzing the situation, and making fact-based decisions quickly to mitigate risks.
Leadership skills that are crucial to effectively coach, guide and motivate teams and foster a productive work environment.
Flexibility working across different time zones to accommodate regional support.


Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 125,500.00 to 182,050.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
