- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 1 year of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript)
- 1 year of experience with data structures or algorithms.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
- Experience building developer tools that improve developer velocity, code quality and code health (e.g., compilers, automated releases, code design and testing, test automation frameworks).
- Experience developing accessible technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex problems and devise practical AI/ML solutions. Ability to think creatively and innovate in the context of developer productivity.

With your technical expertise you will manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. You will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions.

- Build tools/infrastructure that help productivity, releases and testing for YouTube’s Main App. Build YouTube components framework and dashboards, performance debugging and testing tooling, test efficacy and effectiveness metrics, and improve our Bad Developer Days for the Main App.
- Debug experiments and accelerate delivery of features. Work closely with YouTube’s Premium and Commerce teams to come up with tooling that supports expansion and scale-up of YouTube’s paid subscriptions.
- Work closely with the team in the US to develop applications of our latest models and integrate that in our tooling and YouTube’s internal systems to the velocity at which YouTube can code/build/release.
