Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in technology-related sales or business development at a Business-to-Business (B2B) software company.
  • 6 years of experience leading and managing a team.
  • Experience engaging with accounts, selling a portfolio of products at C-level.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience with large, complex commercial and legal negotiations working with procurement, legal, and business teams.
  • Experience promoting Google Cloud computing technologies to large and complex organizations across geographies.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across organizational boundaries, build relationships, and import and export talent and ideas to achieve a broader organizational goal.
  • Ability to influence decisions at the executive level.
  • Ability to present analyses and break down technical concepts into simple terms to present to diverse, technical, and non-technical audiences.

As a Country Manager, you will drive how the media, business, government and consumers in the region view Google Cloud. You will focus on strategy and execution of the organization's business plan, quota for achieving goals within the market, and business growth and customer acquisition for Google Cloud.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the overall cloud strategy, delivering significant business and organizational growth for Google Cloud in Philippines.
  • Develop team and foster high-performance culture, with direct management of cloud sales leaders, leading teams through change and leveraging resources cross-functionally by building a shared goal.
  • Contribute strategically to the growth and direction of Google Cloud products and services in the region. Ensure new product launches are communicated to the local market, building annual/quarterly/monthly plans for business growth and associated scalable playbooks and tools.
  • Promote Google Cloud products, increasing growth in large accounts and developing effective strategies.
  • Understand complex customer requirements on business and technical level, providing tailored solutions and presentations on Google Cloud products to customers.
