Finance Project Manager
The Finance Projects, Strategy, and Administration team is responsible for developing Finance’s strategic priorities, executing on them, and representing the Finance department in Firm-wide initiatives. The team is dynamic, uses a creative approach to problem solving, and requires the ability to think strategically. We are looking to recruit a Finance Project Manager with financial services experience to deliver for multiple initiatives.
Principal Responsibilities
Build and maintain relationships with Finance group heads and managers
Manage relationships with stakeholders across the organization at all levels of seniority
Manage project plans; track key deliverables, and proactively identify risks
Communicate project status, including milestones and upcoming deliverables
Prepare materials to aid management decisions
Qualifications/Skills Required
5+ years of relevant experience
Bachelor’s Degree is required
Ownership mindset; perseverance and ability to deal with uncertainty
Executive-level communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to prioritize in a fast moving, high pressure, constantly changing environment; strong sense of urgency
Highly organized, and can operate with limited direct supervision
Strong leadership skills, including ability to influence and direct others
Proven record of managing multiple initiatives simultaneously
Understanding of core Finance team functions
Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
Advanced quantitative and problem-solving skills, as well as intellectual curiosity
Quick learner and detail oriented; demonstrable thoroughness and strong ownership of work
Familiarity with JIRA, and Agile Project Management, preferred
Ability to collaborate globally and work cross-functionally
Ability to interact and build relationships with global stakeholders
Strong attention to detail
The estimated base salary range for this position is $70,000 to $160,000, which is specific to New York and may change in the future. Millennium pays a total compensation package which includes a base salary, discretionary performance bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package. When finalizing an offer, we take into consideration an individual’s experience level and the qualifications they bring to the role to formulate a competitive total compensation package.
