We are currently searching for an Infrastructure DevOps/IAC Engineer to join our team at Langley AFB Hampton, VA. Employing some of the most talented, dedicated people on the planet is not by chance. In this position, you will assist in designing, implementing, and testing front-end and back-end software applications.  You will work in a fast-paced, modern, agile development environment and collaborate closely with software, hardware, and tests to build advanced mission capabilities and features. This position requires the ability to obtain a US security clearance.  Most of the job is done in a classified lab environment and requires a daily onsite presence.

**This position is onsite at Langley AFB Hampton, VA or Marlborough, MA**

Primary Responsibilities:

  • The Infrastructure DevOps/IAC Engineer will be responsible for supporting the current Cyber Security Infrastructure in IL4/IL5/IL6 AWS environments. 

  •  Support emerging DevOps solutions in an Agile environment, developing IaC, troubleshooting cybersecurity tools and developing logging solutions for our customers.

  • Follow established Software processes and procedures, development, documentation and maintenance/management of operations concepts, requirements (system, element, segment level), external and internal interfaces, and other software engineering work products/artifacts.

  • Contribute to the completion of program and project milestones under the specific guidance of their immediate supervisor.

  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in DevOps and satellite technology to drive innovation.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident “Green Card” holder.

  • Typically, A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field.

  • Active DoD Secret clearance. 

  • Department of Defense Directive (DoDD) 8140 / 8570 Certification requirements (CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent certification) and an Operating System Certification 

  • Scripting Experience

  • Experience deploying, configuring, and supporting CICD Pipelines tools (E.g. GitLab, VSCode, Teraform)

  • Experience with Agile Development Methodologies (E.g. scrum, SAFe)

  • Experience with automation frameworks such as Chef and Ansible.

Preferred Qualifications:                      

  • Experience with Elastic Software.

  • Experience with DevOps CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) Pipeline development.

  • Experience with Jenkins, Gitlab, Fortify, Gradle, and Ansible.

  • Software Factory tools used in the orchestration for building, packaging, deploying, and testing developed products in a Pipeline.

The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
