To support this growth, we are searching for a Senior Software BI Reporting Engineer with specialization in Data Analytics (mid-level/senior) to join our team.In this Bengaluru (Bangalore), India-based role you will focus on 2 primary objectives. One of those primary objectives will be to help build and deliver high-quality data products for our global operations and finance teams. The other primary objective will be to help maintain, support and improve those high-quality data products.

Your Day to Day   

• This role will lead analytics & reporting across strategic projects to unlock the growth potential of GoTo Inc business and end-to-end customer experience.

• This role will apply their experience & expertise in quantitative analysis, data modeling, and data science approaches to gain deep understanding of customer behavior and provide insights into customer engagement and journey across the life cycle

• He/she will own and drive meaningful business metrics & KPIs focused on the end-to-end customer lifecycle and product lifecycle funnel

• Directly influence the strategy for our product/engineering platforms as well as our customer experiences

• He/she will partner with data engineers, product managers and cross functional teams to build reliable data pipelines, data sets, reports, and dashboards to monitor and analyze critical metrics to ensure SLA and data quality

What We’re Looking For  

• Proven experience using quantitative analysis/statistical modeling on data sets to solve intricate business problems

• Outstanding at telling stories with data and presenting it to partners at all levels to influence critical decision making

• Must have good hands-on experience with writing complex SQL queries

• Must have hands-on experience with Data Analytics, Reporting and creating Dashboards using Tableau

• Professional Big Data experience, (e.g. Data Analytics, Dashboards, ETL/Data Pipeline Design and Development, Data Warehousing, Complex SQL Queries, Business Logic, etc.)

• Python and Spark programming skills, (Inc. Frameworks, Libraries & Tools)

• Hands-on experience working in Big Data and Cloud ecosystems, (e.g. Hadoop Framework, AWS, EMR, EC2, S3 etc.)

• Practical knowledge of Linux or Unix Shell Scripting

• Must be passionate about Big Data, technical challenges, and problem solving, (Inc. real-time and batch processing on large volumes of data with significant complexity)

• Ability to clearly communicate with technical and non-technical audiences, (Inc. verbal and written language skills)

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or equivalent) required; Master’s degree preferred
