We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Full Stack Developer to join our Rapid Application Development (RAD) Portfolio Manager (PM) Tools team. In this role, you will focus on our Unified Desktop MLP Launchpad, developing tools and applications that enhance the portfolio management (PM) workflows within Millennium. 

As a Full Stack Developer, you will collaborate closely with technology teams, PM teams, and business analysts to support activities on the MLP Launchpad. You will be responsible for onboarding new applications, developing tooling, contributing to design/architecture decisions on the platform, collecting metrics, and optimizing workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement highly scalable, adaptable, and efficient software solutions while taking into account prevailing constraints and the future strategic direction of our technology landscape.

• Develop, test, and improve front-end applications using Svelte.

• Build and optimize back-end services with fastify (Node.js).

• Manage data streams with Kafka.

• Collaborate with cross-functional team members to ensure project goals and expectations are clear, and all deliverables are met on time.

• Write well-designed, efficient, and testable code.

• Maintain high-quality documentation of design and code.

• Participate in code and design reviews to maintain our high development standards.

• Track down and eliminate bugs.

Qualifications

• 4+ years professional experience in Angular/React/Vue/Svelte, Fastify/Express (Node.js).

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript.

• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

• Professional experience with RESTful APIs.

• Familiarity with different data storage options (AWS Document DB) and data streaming platforms (Kafka).

• Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools

• Knowledge of different authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token.

• Knowledge of data structures and ability to find/apply the most efficient one to solve the problem.

• Thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment; comfortable with time-sensitive deliverables.

• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.

• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently when required.
