Hitachi Energy High Voltage Service are now hiring a QHSE Advisor within our Staffordshire based team reporting to our QHSE Lead to ensure a consistent and seamless delivery of QHSE support. As an experience QHSE Advisor you will be responsible for Environmental and Employee Health & Safety activities related to the environment and Hitachi Energy employees. The Role

• Developing and implementing policies and practices to identify/mitigate hazardous conditions within the workplace and external environments.
• Investigating accidents and environmental incidents and liaising with engineers, management, and health and safety regulatory authorities to identify causes of accidents and prevent their recurrence.
• Providing advice and training on safety protocols and conducting audits to ensure compliance with organization and government standards related to environmental and employee heath and safety.
• Maintaining relationships with the community, environmental groups, and other stakeholders impacted by the environmental performance of the organization
• Collaborating with the wider Hitachi Energy team

Background:

• Relevant associated qualification in QHSE
• Experience of policies and procedures to make sure people aren't harmed by their jobs
• Knowledge and understanding of investigating and reporting accidents
• Providing knowledge and guidance on how to comply with the law
• Experience of worked with diverse teams to develop, manage and monitor the QHSE performance
• Familiar with advising on all QHSE matters, issues and concerns to ensure Company compliance with statutory requirements, Company and contractual requirements and good industry practice.
