Summary:

In this role, you will promote sales effectiveness by transforming data into clear, compelling visuals and messages that resonate with customers. You will collaborate closely with enterprise principals and cross-functional data teams to identify sales opportunities and promote data-driven insights and visuals to help optimize sales performance.  By leveraging your expertise in data visualization and strategic communication, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth and empowering teams with actionable insights.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize data, analysis, and insights to drive sales growth and enable informed decision-making for Vizient's enterprise customers. Apply advanced analytics techniques and data mining to identify opportunities and provide valuable recommendations for sales optimization.

• Develop visually stunning and impactful presentations, reports, and dashboards that effectively communicate complex data and insights to both internal and external stakeholders. Craft compelling visual narratives that engage and resonate with the target audience, utilizing storytelling techniques to convey key messages effectively.

• Prioritize and manage support requests, adhering to service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure timely delivery of high-quality outputs that meet or exceed stakeholders' expectations. Triage incoming requests, allocate resources efficiently, and maintain a focus on delivering actionable and valuable results.

• Foster relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration on data visualization initiatives. Engage with enterprise sales teams, business unit leaders, subject matter experts, and other relevant stakeholders to understand their needs, gather requirements, and create a collaborative environment for effective data visualization projects.

• Serve as a trusted advisor and advocate for data visualization best practices and solutions.

• Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and advancements, providing guidance and recommendations to drive the adoption of data visualization tools and techniques throughout the organization.

Qualifications:

• Relevant degree preferred. 

• 7 or more years of relevant experience in data visualization is required.

• Must have a proven track record in manipulating, analyzing, and normalizing large complex volumes of datasets from diverse sources to create adaptable reporting solutions.

• Must possess strong analytical and statistical skills for evaluating and analyzing data.

• Strong knowledge and experience working with healthcare data is required. 

• Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI is required.

• Possess competency with SQL skills for data analysis; Competency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, PowerPoint/Google Slides, etc.

• Ability to understand business requirements, create functional specifications, and translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise language for business stakeholders.

• Exceptional written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present and clearly explain insights based on data to non-technical executive audiences.

• Willingness to travel. This will include periodic travel to corporate offices or onsite member meetings.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $117,600.00 to $194,200.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
