Collins Aerospace is seeking a highly motivated professional Senior Assistant, Administration to provide office management support to two director level executives within the Interiors Business Unit.

The successful candidate can effectively manage under time constraints, in a fast-paced work environment, and can multi-task. The candidate must be a self-starter, detail-oriented, technically savvy, and possess excellent organizational skills. The role performs a wide range of administrative tasks. This role also requires a high level of professionalism and the ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality of information.

This position is onsite in Winston-Salem, NC. The hours for this role will typically be 8:00am-5:00pm but could fluctuate depending on business needs.

What You Will Do:

  • Provides office management support to two director-level executives:
    • Calendar management
    • Travel arrangements
    • Expense reporting
    • Ad hoc support for departmental staff
  • Manages specified conference rooms reserved for larger groups:
    • Internal employee trainings
    • External customer events
    • Meeting space reservation requests
    • Catering coordination
    • Maintaining stock for associated kitchen/pantry
    • Collaboration with facilities and IT teams to ensure meeting needs are met
  • Performs data entry and other normal office functions such as setting up and maintaining files, interviewing callers and making proper referrals, arranging meetings and conferences and receiving, referring or answering mail.
  • Represents organizational unit on administrative matters. 
  • May prepare budgeting, project scheduling, and statistical reports as required.
  • Reviews drafts and finished documents and answers questions relating to office operations and established policies and procedures.
  • Gathers, compiles and reports on information relevant to supervisor’s assignment.
  • Working independently on special assignments, managing the Executive’s schedule, processing and handling of confidential documents and other administrative duties.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. Collins Aerospace will not offer sponsorship for this position.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Previous Administrative or Office Support Experience: prior experience in roles involving general administrative or office support tasks.
  • Previous experience with meeting coordination and logistics.
  • Concur Travel & Expense Software
  • Microsoft Office
  • Aerospace industry experience preferred.

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 83,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
