DASSAULT SYSTEMES is looking for a motivated Unified Communications Engineer to join our IT team in Waltham, MA in an onsite/hybrid role. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and supporting Microsoft Exchange & Skype for Business, Load Balancers, Web Conferencing, and security best practices that protect all the above.

• Architect, deploy, and support the 3DS Unified Communications infrastructure for seamless and efficient Collaboration Experiences, encompassing email, Instant Messaging, Voice, and Video across various devices and 3DS locations globally.
• Act as a collaborative team member, contributing effectively on a global scale.
• Demonstrate proficiency in project design, implementation, and management, ensuring the ongoing stability, integrity, and efficiency of the Unified Communications infrastructure.
• Envision and enhance Collaboration Experiences to accommodate evolving work paradigms.
• Design Unified Communications architecture aligned with end-user requirements, business continuity, and security protocols.
• Select and procure solutions in alignment with business objectives.
• Configure and implement solutions tailored to end-user needs and security policies.
• Strategize and execute organization-wide solution deployment.
• Monitor service availability and quality, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Oversee patching and version upgrades.
• Provide level 2/3 support, addressing infrastructure-related incidents reported by users.
• Optimize infrastructure to enhance user experience and operational efficiency.
• Stay abreast of technological advancements to enhance user experience continually.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of experience in an IT role specializing in Unified Communications.
• Proven experience in global team collaboration, adept at working across time zones.
• Expertise in Microsoft Exchange design, implementation, and support (preferably On-Premise, hybrid acceptable).
• Proficiency in Skype for Business design and infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of Operating System installation, optimization, and security best practices.
• Proficient in PowerShell scripting related to MS Exchange, Active Directory, and MS Operating Systems.
• Familiarity with CommVault backup software as it pertains to MS Exchange.
• Sound understanding of Certificates and Encryption.
• Proficient in or knowledge of Load Balancing technology (preferably F5 Load Balancers).
• Knowledge of Cloud Email Security gateway technology (e.g., Proofpoint, Forcepoint, Exchange Online Protection).
• Solid grasp of network routing fundamentals and associated protocols.
• Deep understanding and practical experience in all security aspects of the OS, Application, and Cloud Provider.
• Strong teamwork, project management, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective time management and excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Willingness and capability to engage with business stakeholders to understand their needs.
