ABOUT YOUR ROLE
The Senior Compliance Engineer will assist in the design, modification, improvement and execution of Avery social compliance internal audit program globally.
This role is the primary execution agent of Global Social Compliance program and will work regularly with regional.
management teams and customers to drive towards continuous social compliance improvement, both AD facilities and subcontractors.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE
- Drive the implementation of the internal compliance audit program through training, development and capacity building.
- Review, analyze and report compliance discrepancies for all facilities, and support to develop sustainable corrective actions for the deviation.
- Educates and trains suppliers and factory management on Ethical Standards and Sustainability programs.
- Perform as the regional SC lead to work with cross functional team on facility qualification process, SC audit and CAP follow up based on AD and/or customer requirements.
- Work with commercial team and brands' for SC requirement and deploy to the global facilities.
- SC metrics report & data analysis and communicate with key stakeholders periodically.
- Assume additional responsibilities and perform special projects as needed or directed.
Qualifications
WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred
- Experience on social compliance audits and excellent knowledge in China law / social audit requirement.
- Experience in brands SC project management, supply chain, quality, environmental health and safety or other SC related systems take an advantage.
- Minimum 3 years related experience in garment or trims manufacturing field.
- Excellent presentation skills & communication skills in both oral and written English.
- Strong team building and mentoring skills, good leadership (preferred).
- Independent worker, strong problem solving skill.
- With the sense of urgency & able to prioritize and complete the assigned task in tight schedule.
- Understanding of applicable computer systems, such as Microsoft Office, Google, Lotus Notes.
- Willing to travel.

EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum 3 years’ relevant working experience gained from MNC or sizeable company, with audit experience.
