Northrop Grumman Space Systems has an opening for a *DevStar Software and Technical Integration Manager 3 *to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in *Roy, Utah* and supporting the Sentinel program. *What You’ll Get To Do:* As the DevStar SW and Integration Manager, you will lead a team of approximately 30-50 systems engineers, software engineers, and project managers across multiple domains and disciplines.  The successful candidate should be detailed oriented, be able to work collaboratively with multiple teams and disciplines, and be able to communicate clearly with DevStar leadership and external customers. The selected candidate will provide technical project leadership to drive Weapon System software build promotion, deployment, and integration across multiple sub-teams. The candidate will be expected to lead the planning, execution, architecture and configuration management of Weapon System Software. The selected candidate will create a culture of well-being, inclusion and engagement that attracts, retains and enables a high performing workforce. *Expected duties include, but are not limited to the following:* * Lead the SW Build Promotion, DevSecOps, SW Interfaces, Alpha Integration, and Simulation/Emulation teams within DevStar. * Manage, track, and automate Sentinel Weapon System SW build promotions and deployment to the Weapon System lab. * Manage and track Sentinel Weapon System SW configuration management, SW interfaces, and Digital IDDs. * Manage the Weapon System simulation and emulation capability to support early integration. * Drive weapon system HW/SW initial integration and checkout in the Weapon System lab. * Communicate with NG and external stakeholders on SW strategy and status. * Collaborate across multi Sentinel segments on program SW plans, status and metrics. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.  This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package. *You’ll Bring These Qualifications: * * 8 years of relevant professional experience with a bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline; 6 years with Masters; 4 years with a PhD. * Active DoD Secret clearance with a reinvestigation date occurring in the last 6 years. * US Citizenship and ability to obtain Special Program Access (SAP) * 3+ years of prior experience in leading systems or software engineering teams. * Demonstrated understanding of how Development/Integration environments need to function and operate. *These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have: * * Effectively communicate and present to project and program management, other technical managers, and external customers. * Experience leading groups of 30+ in a programmatic, or technical capacity. * Previous access to SAP. * Experience with the Sentinel weapon system, especially SW integration. * Earned Value Management Experience. * Strong ability to communicate unique problems and recommend potential process/business solutions in an Agile environment. * Successful track record of program performance, interpersonal team building skills, and management experience. * Experience leading multiple teams simultaneously and collaborating across teams. * Excellent technical writing skills, and team building skills. * Strong leadership qualities, including excellent communication and collaboration, team engagement, and organizational skills. #Sentinelsoftware #Sentinelleadership *Salary Range: *$156,000 - $234,000 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
