Come join an organization that’s committed to quality and customer satisfaction. *Responsibilities:* Creates data mining architectures/models/protocols, statistical reporting, and data analysis methodologies to identify trends in large data sets. Analysis may have many applications such as to address a business issue or provide a competitive advantage for the organization. Requires strong statistical and data visualization skills. responsible for overseeing the collection, storage, and interpretation of data for businesses. Duties include sifting through data points to create organized categories, comparing data points to current company processes and writing reports to meet business needs. Create Power BI report(s), data models, data collection, data analysis, and tracking data trends.  Work closely with business stakeholders to identify business requirements and provide solutions to a variety of technical problems. Identifying relevant data sources for business needs, collecting structured and unstructured data, sourcing missing data, building predictive models, and enhancing the data collection process. Responsible for data integrity, metrics, data analytics, and SharePoint administrator Knowledge, Skills, and Ability- Applies extensive technical expertise, and has full knowledge of other related disciplines. Able to communicate effectively and clearly present technical approaches and findings. Problem Solving- Develop technical solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity. Discretion/Latitude- Work is performed without appreciable direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining technical objectives of assignment. Completed work is reviewed from a relatively long- term perspective, for desired results. Liaison - Represents the organization as the prime technical contact on data projects. Interacts with senior external personnel on significant technical matters often requiring coordination between organizations. *Basic Qualifications:* *Principal Data Analyst* * Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Data Science and 6+ years of Quality Control experience; or Master's degree and 4 years of experience. * Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance and special program access clearance *Preferred Qualifications:* * Experience in technical writing skills, Ability to communicate complex data in a simple, actionable way. * Analytical and problem-solving skills. * Experience with machine learning and AI. * Familiarity with data management tools. * Ability to work independently and with team members from different backgrounds. * Excellent attention to detail. * Functional knowledge of production control systems (ePIC, Solumina, Costpoint, TipQA, SAP-S4, Mfg/etc. * Experience or certification: Microsoft Power BI reporting, and data analytics. * Experience or certification: Microsoft SharePoint design or administration . * Active DoD Secret Clearance or higher *Salary Range: *$84,200 - $126,400 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
