Northrop Grumman is seeking a* Principal Software Development Analyst* (Level 3).  This position will be located at our Aeronautics Systems sector in San Diego, CA or Redondo Beach, CA with opportunity for hybrid work arrangements. The qualified candidate will become part of the AS Sector Business Management Technology Organization. This candidate will participate in the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of applications and utilities in support of the Cost and Schedule Management (CSM) organization. The selected candidate will be expected to perform the following summary level job responsibilities: * Engage with internal customers to understand and define application/utility needs and requirements * Participate constructively in a collaborative work environment with other development team members * Support the design, build, test, analysis and documentation of new and existing enterprise-wide applications and utilities *Basic Qualifications* * Master’s degree with 4 years of experience OR Bachelor’s degree with 6 years of experience in one or more of the following areas: Software Development, Information Systems, or comparable/equivalent * Advanced understanding and wide application of software development concepts, principles, techniques, and theories (algorithm development, data structures, Object Oriented Programming, SQL Query Optimization) * Significant experience with MS Visual Studio * *Significant experience with C#, .NET, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Vue* * Significant experience with relational databases and Structured Query Language (SQL) * Proficiency with Microsoft Office (MS Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook) * Demonstrated ability to work effectively on project teams * Self-motivated, organized, possess strong interpersonal, analytical, communication and presentation skills * Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance *Preferred Qualifications* * Experience with Agile development cycle/concepts * Experience with Azure DevOps for Software Project Management * Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, SQL Server Reporting Services * Experience with Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) * Experience with Tableau * Experience with Microsoft Project Server * Familiarity with Cost Accounting principles * Familiarity with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) * Active DoD Secret or DoD Top Secret Clearance *Salary Range: *$107,300 - $160,900 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
