We oversee technology strategy supporting Financial systems in Record to Report, Rev Rec, QTC and Tax with applications engineering, infrastructure, collaboration, enterprise operations, architecture, and program enablement.

Role Description:
Salesforce seeks a talented, self-directed, technical leader to manage software engineers on the Business Technology Application Engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for end-to-end management of tools, systems, and applications that support the Salesforce financial systems. You will collaborate with many teams across Business Technology, Record to Report, Rev Rec, and Tax teams to scale and enhance financial systems for the unparalleled growth of Salesforce.

*Manage technical expertise in team. Able to motivate and engage team to be ready to pick up Workday and Mulesoft Integration work within Finance Cloud ERP. Able to cultivate ‘technology first’ mindset in team to build scalable and innovative solution for finance community

*Motivate team to build automation for testing rather than doing manual testing

What are the top 3 impactful responsibilities/duties of the role?

*Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

*Champion the utilization of MuleSoft and Workday for integration solutions for Workday Financial implementation

*Oversee the development and execution of comprehensive test automation strategies for Integrations and Workday Financials ERP

What skills and experience MUST an applicant have?

*Worked on project delivery in Cloud ERP ( Oracle/SAP or Workday)

*Experience in Finance domain (Q2C , Record to Report , Rev Rec , Tax, General Ledger, Consolidation)

*Experience in multiple Integration technologies ( Like MuleSoft and Workday for integration )

*Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate project status updates effectively.

*Best practices in software engineering, including Agile methodologies

What skills and experience are NICE TO HAVE?

*Experience with agile/scrum methodology

*Experience working in Workday FINS

*Worked on project delivery in any Cloud ERP ( Oracle/SAP or Workday)
