JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Designs, develops, implements, and oversees the organization's Environment, Health, and Safety (EH&S) programs and procedures to safeguard employees and the environment.
• Confirms compliance of all facilities with EH&S regulations and UTC requirements.
• Acts as a partner in EH&S by formulating and administering EH&S plans and procedures including EH&S Program Management.
• Has responsibility for multiple EH&S specialties. May perform tasks associated with Health / Safety and Environmental / Compliance.
• Coordinates with business partners for EH&S concerns regarding facilities and employee practices.
• May have responsibility for facilities and / or medical at a site. Organizes and maintains EH&S policies to achieve and maintain compliance with regulations.
• Manages relationships across other specialized departments to achieve and maintain compliance with EH&S regulations and UTC requirements.
• Administers EH&S plans and procedures across multiple EH&S specialties, including Health/Safety and Environmental/Compliance. Analyzes facility and employee practice issues for opportunities to apply EH&S procedures to solve problems or improve EH&S policy effectiveness.
• Executes procedures, reports, and trainings across multiple EH&S disciplines.
• Reviews performance against EH&S regulatory requirements and raises potential non-conformance issues.
• Explains and interprets EH&S regulations and employee practices to business facilities to achieve and maintain understanding.
• Prepares required environmental regulatory reports and submissions.
• Develops materials for EH&S training and communications on subjects required by regulations such as confined space, respiratory protection, compressed gases, electrical safety, ergonomics, etc. ​
• Adheres to and participates in all EHS practices and standards across the site, including but not limited to proactive reporting of observed hazards and recommendations to ensure the safety and wellbeing of self and others.

JOB QUALIFICATION

• Graduate of any Engineering course
• With at least 2 years relevant experience
• Preferably with experience in a manufacturing setup
• Can communicate effectively with internal and external customers

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite.  Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home).  An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.
