The Executive Marketing team is focused on building and deepening Executive (C-suite) relationships within Salesforce's top global Enterprise accounts to expand industry influence, build trust and increase Salesforce’s footprint. We create executive programs, starting with thoughtful, data-based segmentation of the audience, that we take through a journey of memorable moments, thought-provoking conversations, and relevant content across brand and media partnerships and Salesforce go-to-market channels.

Role Description:
We seek a seasoned and strategic leader to take on the Senior Director, Executive Programs role. In this critical position, you will work with a dynamic team to reimagine the executive journey for Salesforce customers and prospects. Your efforts will be instrumental in reshaping our Executive Marketing program strategy across our global strategic events and field marketing activities. In this role, you will also be responsible for developing strong engagement with senior leadership collaborators and influencing cross-functional partners to deliver on the goals.

Responsibilities:

Program Management and Strategy:

  • Set and define the core critical metrics and pipeline contribution of the Executive Program 
  • Re-imagine and shape the global executive integrated program strategy for both offline and online activities
  • Run market analysis to identify the top cities footprint and top account targeting
  • Partner closely as the key point of contact with key collaborators on the quarterly performance of the overall executive program
  • Partner with sponsorship team to align on sponsorship revenue targets across the portfolio
  • Provide ongoing updates to leadership and partners on program strategy shifts and achievements.

Demand Generation and Integrated Marketing:

  • Set attendee criteria and targets to generate YoY growth aligned to global pipeline goals.
  • Align with global counterparts on global efforts to target the executives to expand into new business units within top accounts and drive new logo acquisition
  • Create integrated with executive digital campaigns that surround key tentpole events

Content and Programming:

  • Shape the executive narrative integrated with key press and product announcements
  • Align with internal global partners to create a governance model for consistent programming globally.
  • Identify, recruit, and pitch top C-Level customers advocates across integrated programs 
  • Create rinse and repeatable content formats for executive audiences that can be widely applied and localized across regions

Lead the team:    

  • Lead team focused on Executive Programs across audience gen, event operations, and programming
  • Align with campaigns and field marketing partners to create integrated programs for the Executive and CXO audience segments.
  • Serve as key point of contact for partners

Job Requirements:

  • 12+ years of relevant professional experience
  • 7+ years experience managing a team of 3+ members
  • Expertise in Enterprise and executive narratives and a deep understanding of Enterprise business challenges.
  • Deep expertise in systems and tools to effectively manage and grow executive audiences and measure results
  • Deep understanding of event operations, agency management and industry standard processes of the Enterprise Events space
  • Able to effectively establish rapport, credibility, and influence across all levels and departments, both internal and external
  • Ability to use data and analytics to drive decision-making as well as a consistent track record of setting and delivering against measurable marketing metrics
  • Strong eye for business with the ability to navigate through ambiguity in order to effectively launch and manage a new program
  • Exemplary communication skills and the ability to present to executive leaders, cross-functional partners, and customers

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with the Salesforce products and/or other SaaS and B2B technology platforms
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful executive experiences
  • Familiarity with Salesforce corporate strategy and business development lifecycle

For New York-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $210,400 to $320,800. For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $210,400 to $320,800.

Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
