Business Information:

The Hitachi Energy Indian Operations Center (INOPC) is a competence center with around 2600+ skilled engineers who focus on tendering, engineering, planning, procurement, project Management, functional system testing, installation supervision, documentation and commissioning. However, over the last decade, it has evolved to become the largest Operations hub. The India Operations Centre team at Chennai, Bangalore and Gurugram supports Hitachi Energy’s units in more than 40 countries across a wide portfolio of all the four business units in Hitachi Energy To date, the team has executed engineering and commissioning for projects in more than 80 countries.

Mission Statement:    

As an LMS Administrator, you will be responsible for managing the LMS infrastructure, overseeing user access, and collaborating with stakeholders to align the system with organizational goals. Your role involves configuring the LMS, creating courses, and ensuring data accuracy. You’ll also collaborate with technical support teams and program managers to enhance the learning experience.  

Your Responsibilities:

  • Deploy, configure, and maintain the LMS platform and collaborate with IT teams to integrate the LMS with other platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Power BI). Ensure seamless data flow between systems and define user roles and permissions within the LMS and Monitor user access, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical support.

  • Create and manage learner profiles.

  • Develop and organize e-learning courses within the LMS and collaborate with subject matter experts to create engaging content.

  • Maintain course catalogs, update materials, and archive outdated content.

  • Design and implement KPI tracking mechanisms within the LMS and generate reports on learner progress, completion rates, and performance.

  • Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

  • Conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy and system functionality and test new features, troubleshoot issues, and address user feedback.

  • Implement best practices for content delivery and user experience.

Your Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Proven experience (3+ years) as an LMS Administrator or similar role.

  • Familiarity with learning management systems (Experience with Cornerstone. Alternatively, experience with Degreed, Canvas, Moodle).

  • Knowledge of data integration, APIs, and system interoperability.

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

  • Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
