    Job Title: Analytics Engineer - Operations

    Team: Analytics Engineering, part of the Global License Compliance Analytics Team

    Location: Krakow

    Position Overview

    Autodesk is seeking a highly accountable, organized Analytics Engineer with data operations focus to join our License Compliance Analytics (LCA) team. Our team plays a essential part within the larger Global License Compliance organization to detect and address non-compliant use of Autodesk's software.

    In this role, you will have a strong focus on highly reliable data operations. The data transformation workflows that you will execute and support are the backbone of our analytics work. The goal of this role is to ensure that our data is produced timely, reliably, with highest quality standards. To achieve this, you need to have proven experience with data query transformation tools and languages, combined with a high degree of reliability.

    Through your work and your accountability, our LCA team is empowered to support the larger organization's goals. We are proud to be deeply embedded in the business, therefore you need to have a good understanding of business requirements and high agility.

    You will collaborate with your peers in Analytics Engineering, the Business Analytics team in LCA, other data and analytics teams as well as end users in the sales organization. This position reports to the Manager Analytics Engineering in LCA.

    This position is hybrid. At Autodesk, we have a hybrid-first culture, which gives you flexibility to alternate between working remotely and coming to the Krakow office.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Execute and support LCA's recurring data transformation workflows to convert data from heterogenous sources into business-ready information.
    • Continuously monitor and report the quality and reliability of LCA's data production.
    • Evolve our recurring data production processes to a higher level of automation in collaboration with other Analytics Engineers.
    • Run and evolve our end-user facing data services and its related documentation
    • Support LCA's Business Analytics team with documentation about our data as well as investigations and ad-hoc queries.

    Minimum Qualifications

    • 2+ years advanced experience writing SQL statements to query and transform data
    • 1+ year(s) experience using Python to solve business / analytics problems.
    • 2+ years demonstrated experience with understanding business requirements from functions like sales, marketing and business analytics
    • Fluency in English
    • Experience with communicating successfully across different, international teams
    • familiarity with cloud-based data warehouse services like Snowflake is a plus
    • experience with data transformation tools such as Alteryx, dbt / Airflow is a plus
