Our business across Europe, is growing at an unprecedented pace. Based in Sweden, this role will provide best in class support to our business to ensure that the overall Talent Management (TM) strategy is executed along the entire employee lifecycle in order to develop, engage and retain our employees across multiple the multiple layers: global, regional and country.

You will ensure that this is operationalised , reporting directly to the Talent Management Lead for Europe, and working closely with your European colleagues within Talent Management, Talent and Learning, Human Resources, and beyond.

Our Talent Management team looks after our Performance Management, Talent Review, Career Development, Assessments and Succession Management processes, together with our global trainee program management, ensuring our Diversity 360 culture is at the heart of everything we do.

You need to be based in Sweden, near to our Ludvika or Västerås office locations. Hybrid working is supported; we will also set you up with a home office to support your delivery. What you’ll do:

  • Power+ Graduate Trainee Program management – you will be the country program manager for our 18-month global flagship graduate trainee program, with our group of trainees reporting directly to you. Your role will include planning for recruitment campaigns for new cohorts together with Employer Branding team, arranging Graduate Assessment Centers with the Talent Acquisition team, educating country business and the external market about the program, effectively onboarding and guiding graduates throughout their 18-month journey and the different business assignments.

  • Performance Management – as a part of the TM team, you’ll ensure smooth implementation of global processes and policies in the area of performance management in line with the Hitachi Energy business values and strategy.

  • Talent Review and Succession Planning – the TM team supports leaders in succession planning for critical roles, by providing analysis of current state and potential threats; you’ll also drive the identification of, and insights on, high potential talent and related development actions for said talent.

  • Talent Development and Assessment – you’ll collaborate with the Learning & Development and HRBPs  consulting and supporting  the design of development opportunities for targeted groups of employees and individual contributor; you’ll also support the implementation of Functional Competences Assessment and perform feedback or debrief sessions for 360 Leadership assessment, Korn Ferry Leadership Solution assessment etc.

  • Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion – our team drives DEI initiatives in Europe and ensures its inclusion in all Talent Management processes, in Hitachi Energy’s culture, and as part of the employee value proposition.

  • Partner with local HR teams to provide guidance on talent management best practices, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and regulations while maintaining alignment with global talent management standards.

  • Career Development – the TM team provides and promotes the Hitachi Energy Connect People to Potential framework and guidance to Hitachi Energy’s employees on how they can take charge and maximize their career development with available tools and resources.

  • Utilize HR analytics and metrics to track and measure the effectiveness of talent management programs, and use data-driven insights to inform decision -making and continuous improvement efforts partnering with HR Business Partners and Business Managers

  • Building a TM Community – TM in Europe fosters a global network of talent management professionals together with our TM colleagues from across the globe, to collaborate, exchange expertise and best practices, and drive global TM processes across business areas and geographies.

What you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent in the area of Human Resources, Business Administration or similar.

  • Excellent command of English and Swedish.

  • Proven experience working with performance management, succession planning, development programs and methodologies.

  • Familiarity, and preferably experience, with graduate program management.

  • Familiarity, and preferably experience, with leadership assessments and feedback-giving practices.

  • Management experience is a plus.

  • Excellent communication, analytical and presentation skills.

  • Good situational adaptability.

  • Strong stakeholder management and intercultural/multi-cultural competence.
