Job Description

This is a key role in the partnership vertical (acceptance) of Visa India and will be responsible for managing key accounts and relationships for all Visa products and services on the seller side for the set of clients managed. The incumbent is expected to lead relationships with the aim of increasing market share for Visa & driving strategic initiatives with seller side partners to deliver ‘partner specific’ strategic account plans for each partner to ensure delivery. You will also deepen existing client relationships and drive product & commercial business management agendas with managed clients.

Some key deliverables include:

  • Driving outcomes via a strategic agenda with cross functional teams internally and externally (with clients).
  • Managing relationship with senior stakeholders as well as working level teams.
  • Strong alignment between partner organizations and Visa, agree on strategic goals and deliver both long-term and short-term outcomes, negotiate contractual terms within set parameters and adhere to internal policy and procedures when structuring agreements.
  • Be the principal point of contact for the accounts managed by the role, focusing on creating sustainable long-term relationships with partners and drive delivery.
  • Be a highly effective communicator who can form networks and make inroads into client organizations.
  • Ability to operate in a complex, matrixed environment and adept at developing a robust internal and external network of relevant global business leaders to help you execute effectively.

Qualifications

• MBA from a tier 1 institute with 7+ years of business development, partnerships, or sales experience in fast-paced growth environment

• Comprehensive knowledge and experience of working in payments, e-commerce, Fintech and/or technology enabled commerce businesses in a solution selling environment

• Experience in driving merchant, acquiring, or payment partnerships with a deep understanding of the payments industry and India market landscape. Relationships across key players would be valuable.

• Own and manage partnerships, drive business outcomes, and coordinate internal resources towards delivery of partnership goals. Develop, manage and deliver on account plans.

• Experience of successfully managing strategic clients and offer ongoing payments consulting.

• Experience in developing and tracking client-centric strategies within a matrixed organization.

• Solution focused: connect the dots and leverage Visa best practices, unafraid to make timely decisions in ambiguous, high pressure situations, quick to adjust/recover and reset priorities
