We are looking for an Operations Planner to support a growing organization. The successful candidate will take on a range of responsibilities in the Transformers Business Unit and will be based in Tuzla, Istanbul, Turkey.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer orders, forecast and inventory levels

  • Serve as primary point of contact between production, order fulfillment, logistics and sales team regarding production planning and scheduling

  • Provide the optimum delivery dates for customer orders and quotations

  • Determine resource requirements including labor, materials and equipment to meet production goals and ensure that all resources are available and allocated efficiently

  • Asses production capacity and identify potential bottlenecks. Develop plans to address capacity constraints and ensure smooth production flow

  • Analyze production performance metrics to identify trends, variances and areas for improvement

  • Adjust schedules as necessary to accommodate changes in demand, production delays or material delays and inform relevant stakeholders

  • Develop collaborative environment for the optimum process execution within the factory to improve customer on time delivery

  • Prepare related periodic reports and perform standard & ad hoc analysis

Your Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Preferably Industrial Engineering)

  • Proficiency in both written and verbal English language

  • Experience in ERP systems, preferably in SAP

  • Good knowledge of MS Office applications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in planning functions

  • Excellent communication, analytical and follow-up skills

  • A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach

  • Military service completed for male applicants
