The F135 Tooling Control Account Manager interfaces with the CIPT’s (Component Integrated Product Team), Manufacturing Operations, and Global Supply Chain to manage the F135 tooling budgets to meet cost and schedule requirements.
The F135 Tooling Control Account Manager assesses progress and work remaining for assigned accounts, prepares an Estimate at Completion (EAC), evaluates variances and recommends appropriate corrective actions utilizing EVMS (Earned Value Management System) and IMS (Integrated Management System) tools within the required monthly business cycle requirements. Upon contract award, the F135 Tooling Control Account Manager establishes baseline budgets for production engines, working with Earned Value Analysts and Program Management.
What You Will Do:
- The F135 Tooling Control Account Manager participates in critical program communication meetings such as the Monthly Program Review (MPR) and Estimates at Completion reviews to communicate issues, changes, risks, and opportunities, as well as other budget reviews, Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBR) and Review For Cause (RFC) audits.
- The F135 Tooling Control Account Manager may prepare proposal Basis of Estimate (BOE) input and support review of BOEs, Statements of Work (SOW), and contract changes. Additional duties may be assigned as required.
- The F135 Tooling Control Account Manager is expected to drive continuous improvement in the application of EV and IMS tools and processes by reporting turn-backs and by investigating root cause, engaging in CORE (Customer Oriented Results and Excellence) events, and identifying corrective actions.
Qualifications You Must Have: :
- Bachelor’s degree and minimum 5 years' experience in an engineering, manufacturing, operations, procurement, program/project management or supply chain environment or a Master's degree and minimum 3 years' experience in an engineering, manufacturing, operations, procurement, program/project management or supply chain environment
- Prior account management or earned value experience
- U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined here: https://www.ecfr.gov/current/title-22/chapter-I/subchapter-M/part-120/subpart-C/section-120.62
Qualifications we prefer:
- SAP knowledge
- Supplier management experience
- Experience as a production cell lead
