General Information:

Hitachi Energy Transformers- Business Solutions IT Organization is seeking a Application Specialist who will provide overall support to the Global BST IT team to drive value and business growth to the business. For its TN Alamo Location.

Your Responsibilities:

• Identify, propose, advise and implement existing IT application technology and IT solutions/services, sharing knowledge and –depending on seniority - guiding others on implementation and operation, using understanding of existing IT application technology and business requirements. 
• Involved in the installation, management, maintenance, and optimization of IT solutions/services where application knowledge is needed. 
• Application and software design, in order to provide product solutions for specific business needs 
• Manage/ support the entire process of building applications, from the design process, to creating, testing and rolling out the application
• Design a product solution in line with specifications given by Solution Architect, Application Manager and business users
• Implement application and provide support services for users
• Provide trainings for the business users
