Responsibilities:
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is responsible for assisting with the growth of our sales pipeline through lead generation and inside sales activities. This role opens opportunities for further development in the sales organization.
- Drive sales growth by sourcing new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
- Collaborate with Account Managers and Sales Representatives to build strategic account plans and territories
- Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales professional for further development and closure
- Co-design and deploy focused sales campaigns aimed at expanding Moody’s presence and brand in specific markets
- Conduct research to develop target account contact information and account intelligence to generate an understanding of customer needs and requirements that can inform sales prospecting and/or marketing program strategies
- Utilize CRM software to track and measure all sales activity

Qualifications:
- First experience in a sales / business development / account management role in a software or financial organization
- Bachelors’ degree in finance, economics or related area advantageous
- Background in, or knowledge of fixed-income credit or financial software advantageous
- Professional fluency in English and German is essential
- Confident phone manner including objection handling
- Clear written communication skills
- Creative problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose issues and develop solutions
- Ability to multi-task and to meet short deadlines
- Ability to work both independently and within a team environment, with focus and high attention to detail
- Motivated by goal attainment and performance measurement
- Proficiency in Internet searches, MS Office and CRM solutions (e.g. LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Salesforce) advantageous
