Job Details

Your responsibilities:

  • You will develop innovative design to meet all requirements for functionality, performance, reliability, serviceability, cost and manufacturability of instrument transformer products.

  • You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to complete electrical, mechanical, simulation, prototyping, and testing.

  • You will engage in all phases of new product development, including concept, architecture, documentation, design, prototype, test, supplier interfaces, manufacturing introduction and service support.

  • You will provide punctual technical support to factories, salespeople and customers, lead project execution, familiar with electromagnetic calculation & design of instrument transformers.

  • You will be familiar with 2D and 3D mechanical design tools and capable of 3D modeling tools, such as Auto CAD, ProE, CATIA, UG, SOLIDWORKS, with FEA knowledge, product quality and production process control of instrument transformers, with FEA knowledge, be able to perform electromagnetism/thermal simulation (ANSYS, COMSOLetc).

  • You will have knowledge of electrical/mechanical aspects of design, product life cycle methods (i.e. specification, design, implementation, qualification), ability to develop unique concepts/solutions for complex products, demonstrated engineering skills in methodical design and test and ability of completing technical documentation.

Your background:

  • You hold bachelors or master's degree in Electric Engineering or related.

  •  5 years or more than 5 years of experience in HV Instrument Transformer products design or R&D experiences.

  • Strong team leadership and teamwork with cross-functional communications and influential skills.

  • Good project management skills, Customer focused.

  • Self-motivated, energized, and results oriented.

  • Creative thinking with demonstrated analytical skills and structured work approach.

  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical and process problems.

  • Ability to work independently toward timely completion of a variety of assignments; Willingness to travel.

  • Fluent in English (both speaking and writing).
