Position Summary This role will be based in Northern California. Administer and manage operations of Field Service, reconfiguration, distribution, and other departments required in a regional facility and satellites by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate employees in coordination with direct Managers & Regional Director. Essential Job Functions:
  • Supervises field service operations in accordance with company policies and principles to facilitate installing, converting, servicing, and maintaining products in the field.
  • Communicate and visit with internal departments and customers to promote and elevate first in class support in the service area.
  • The ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects at a time.
  • Monitors work order and field technician activities to ensure proper procedures are followed, monitors status, and reports on daily, weekly and monthly field service activity while optimizing customer service levels.
  • Perform site visits and Ride-Alongs with service personnel.
  • Coaches, mentors, and leads by example all personnel reporting to the position
  • Setting goals, monitoring employee performance, solving customer issues, training staff, solving employee concerns, interviewing, and hiring personnel, and making sure service objectives are met.
  • Makes sure that all internal and external issues have been addressed in a timely manner and that all the issues have been resolved
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and safety standards
  • Prepare and present reports to senior management and above.

Qualifications Qualifications Experience:
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in management in a field service capacity. Technical field service experience preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Strong communication skills
  • Must be innovative, forward thinking, and flexible.
  • Excellent management, organizational, time management, and leadership skills.
  • Good communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to manage personnel in service operations.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and independent thinking.
  • Accomplished PC skills, including MS Office, MS Outlooks, Internet, and Intranet.  Oracle ERP skills a plus; any Salesforce/Servicemax experience a plus
  • Comfortable in presenting in front of the team or leadership.
Education:  High School diploma; A/A, technical school or equivalent work experience

Salary:

The targeted pay range for this role is $80,000 to $90,000. The total compensation package for this position may also include applicable incentive compensation, such as an annual performance bonus. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, specific work geography, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
