“The Hitachi Energy Indian Operations Center (INOPC) is a competence center with around 2600+ skilled engineers who focus on tendering, engineering, planning, procurement, project Management, functional system testing, installation supervision, documentation and commissioning.”

Mission Statement:

Design, testing, and delivery of Control System Applications for Power Converter Solutions within Hitachi Energy Power Quality Business. Take responsibility for the projects assigned and ensure the deliveries are managed as per the defined project budget and schedule meeting all the KPIs. Coordinate with other Design Engineering teams, Project Management, and Clients to ensure seamless execution of both Design Engineering and Site Commissioning support activities.

Your responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for the planning of control and protection systems for power electronic converter projects.
  • This includes the specification, programming, and documentation of the control software as well as the fabrication and test documentation for the hardware.
  • You will specify auxiliary components and define technical requirements and interfaces with sub-suppliers
  • We rely on your expertise when it comes to software design with MACH control platform, HiDraw and possibly Matlab / Simulink
  •  It will be on you to verify your software on the real-time simulator as well as in the project hardware.
  • Besides bringing the software into service, you will operate specialist support for the service group as well as for the customer
  • You will support the sales department in the concept and tender phase
  • You will also perform commissioning support and customer training on site
  • During the whole project phase, you will handle the technical documentation of your work

Your background:

  • Masters in Power Electronics or Power Systems with 5+ years' experience in a similar role / bachelor's in electrical & Electronics or Electronics & Communication with 8+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Strong communication and people skills with high focus on internal and external Stakeholders and their needs.
  • Eagerness for learning and innovation, the readiness of mind for the use of various new tools for engineering tasks but also for organizing the team efficiently.
  • Good knowledge of the English language, and others are a plus.
  • You like to work in multicultural/international environment.
