What You Will Do
As a Global Supply Chain intern, you’ll have the opportunity to learn about the challenges facing aviation, and supply chain, while directly impacting the evolution of our business.
Our paid internship is designed to leverage your strengths and position you to add value to your team from day one. We place you in roles that reflect your passions, allow you to see day-to-day life in the Global Supply Chain organization, and provide you with a flexible learning environment to kick-start your career. From our established mentorship program to assignment of meaningful projects which have opportunity to make a difference during the summer, the Global Supply Chain internship program provides structured learning in supplement to your in-role technical training.
Each intern will be placed in a procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain support function and will be assigned tactical work and project deliverables. The interns are part of a cohort group with programming and report out to all managers and leadership at the end of the summer. The opportunities for interns who are motivated to learn and grow in this industry are endless! You are encouraged to reach across the company and learn all aspects of our business to find greater meaning in your work. At P&W we are all one team.
Our internship serves as a pipeline to our development program, and we are seeking students interested in full-time development program opportunities upon graduation.
Program Highlights:
- Onboarding activities designed to introduce you to our people, processes, and tools

- GSC specific intern engagement events
- Challenging, unique assignment within Global Supply Chain
- Assigned mentor, peer mentor, and on-the-job coach/mentor
- Evaluation periods during and after your assignment with internship supervisor

Qualifications You Must Have
- Enrolled in a degree program in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business, or related field
- Minimum of 30 credits prior to starting your internship
- Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship.

What is my role type?

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
